Donna DuBock Art
Meet Donna DuBock, an abstract mixed media painter working from her shoreline studio, "The Villa," in Village Bay on Mayne Island. Originally from Dorset, UK, Donna trained at the Art Institute in Bournemouth before a long career in health and social care, then returned fully to painting after moving to BC in 2014.
Her work blends acrylic, collage and texture, often inspired by the wildlife and coastal scenery she encounters while sailing: poppy fields, hummingbirds, herons, foxgloves and West Coast seascapes. Alongside her original canvases, she also offers art prints, greeting cards, notebooks and printed home goods featuring her designs.
