Our Story

Ian Watt's connection to Mayne Island goes back to 1976. When he was three, his family's Volkswagen camper van broke down on Bayview Drive and they ended up spending the week on the island. A few months later his parents bought property on Mayne for $9,500, and the family have been part-time residents ever since.

Ian has been a licensed realtor since 2005 and spent about twenty years living in and building his business in Yaletown and Downtown Vancouver. Over that time he has sold properties from modest townhouses to luxury penthouses, working with local residents, entrepreneurs and international investors.

He sums up his approach as digital marketing coupled with good old-fashioned customer service. Today he brings that city experience to Mayne Island, helping connect island properties with buyers from Greater Vancouver. Ian is with Heller Murch Realty.
