Mayne Island Improvement District

The Mayne Island Improvement District (MIID) is the local government body responsible for delivering essential public safety and infrastructure services to island residents. Operating out of 520 Felix Jack Road, the MIID oversees the operations and funding for Mayne Island Fire Rescue as well as the island's emergency medical response infrastructure. Governed by an elected board of local trustees, the Improvement District works to maintain community safety standards, manage public safety facilities, and support vital volunteer emergency services across Mayne Island.
